Good luck on contacting him, btw, what texture prefix are we using for Skyrim?
I thought it was sky_, but looking through some of the textures I've been sent, it seems like we're using tx_sky_, right?

Btw Yeti, I'm not a great texturer, but is this ok for the rug?

It would have helped if I knew what the interiors looked like tbh, but nevermind. tongue
Also do you need anything else making for the interiors? Tapestries, paintings, clutter, furniture etc.?
I might as well get the models we need now out of the way first. Smile

That looks great Dirnae santa though, if it isn't too much trouble, maybe fill in the
innermost section with the light-brown.

The one thing I'd like for my interiors is a forge for the orc armorer. So far I put in the
furn_de_forge_01 as a placeholder, thinking that it could just be retextured later, but a
unique Skyrim one of the same size, maybe a darkgray color with some dark-brown wooden parts,
would be great (and very useful in such a warrior filled province).

Need to go quickly now so sorry for bad grammar Laughing

The latest Prefic is: Tx_Skyrim_xxxxxxxx

Tx_Sky is outdated and includes a lot of old stuff

Thanks for clarifying that Lestat.

Yeti, I've changed the rug, I'll get a screenshot up later with some screenshots (or perhaps videos) of some blacksmith equipment I'm making too.
What's the ID of the interior shell the smithy is using? That way I can use he same textures. Smile

P.S, Lestat, could you send me the sorted textures and meshes for Skyrim sometime, that way I know I wont be using incorrectly named (and perhaps outdated?) meshes and textures.

I've finished a barrel full of water (using animated textures), for cooling steel from the forge.

I've finished the forge model, it has a morph animation for the blowy thing (you probably don't know what I mean, but oh well What a Face ). I need to texture it, but I can't do that until I have the sorted Skyrim files and interior shell ID, so I can find and use existing textures, or match mine to the house. I'm thinking we can have it so when you activate the furnace the animation plays, just as a neat miscellaneous thing.

I've almost finished a grinding wheel too.

I might make a higher poly anvil too, depends what mood I'm in later. Very Happy

Yeti, I'll send you the barrel of water and rug in a bit, so you can check them out. Just need to upload them first. I'll send them to Lestat too.

Every Texture that use the prefic Tx_Skyrim_ is a new texture...to old textures (Tx_Sky_) have parts that are not used anymore, but if you find something you need, take it.

Which Interior ID do you need?

Interior don't have their new ID's yet...First I want to finish the Exterior and Terrain section...I know I'm fucking slow in renaming NIF's and ID's...but I have to switch the sorting process with exterior building, 3d Modeling and Texturing...

I just need to know what interior model is being used for the smith's place, that's all. If you know the model name and location, give me that, or give me the interior's object ID and I'll use that to find the model.

You should get the models uploaded somewhere anyway so we can access them (I've still got the unsorted files). Neutral
Is there any problem with that though? If there is, that's fine, it'd just be nice. Smile

At the moment the smith have no special building...they use a normal house interior model, similar like in Vanilla Morrowind...

Yeti use the House Interior with the ID: Sky_In_Nord_House_Wood_03_XX for his Amber Guard Interior (Sorted)

NIF ID is: Sky_In_Nord_H_W_03_XX

Actually you have all the files I have...Only mine change the ID from time to time (Sorting Process) Very Happy

Thanks Lestat.

Haha, they're log cabins? Shocked

That might produce certain.... difficulties.... for a smith. What a Face
Have the forge outside maybe?

Btw, about these log cabins. I talked to Monkey about this I think, but have you ever thought of making wall meshes for them?
They're pretty big aren't they, and that would allow stuff like bedrooms to be made easily and other rooms to be made with little effort.
Just thought it was an interesting idea.

That would make sense...otherwise we will have "The Great Fire Of Amber Guard" Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Could you make a similar exterior wood structure for the smith? I also could do it, if you have no time.

I be online on Skyoe later

Haha, yeah, say goodbye to amberguard. Very Happy

I edited my last post btw.
About an exterior structure, I can have a go at that, what is the exterior mesh called?

We could have an overhanging roof, to cover the smith tools. Something like this perhaps, except without the upper extension.
http://www.purplepawn.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/tabletop-world-blacksmiths-forge-2-300x286.jpg

Couldn't find any better pictures to show what I mean. Just a overhanging roof on te side really.

What time will you be on Skype? I'm on now, but I'll probably log off in a bit, and come back on later.

The Log Buildings and cabins are not my work, I just retextures and made a new UV-Map on some parts.
The are from Dongle...

Log walls are easy to make...I'll import a house exterior and make a few different sized walls from the mesh.

Wow Dirane, you're a modeling machine Very Happy

You guys are right about the forge going outside. I wouldn't want AmberGuard to burn down after all my
hard work Wink

Wall's would also be quite useful.

Thanks Yeti. Smile

Keep going Lestat, looks great. Cool
I'll send Lestat the forge model itself later (it's finished, but I might make a quick script for the animation and test it out).
I might be able to finish the grinding stone too.

Hey, Lestat, not sure if you've noticed yet but I sent you the forge models through Skype earlier today, so you could name them properly and send them to Yeti.
I'll send the link to you through pm here if you want too.

Last Bruma House Middle finsihed (Raw Model)

https://2img.net/h/i766.photobucket.com/albums/xx304/LestatDeLioncourt1872/BrumaHouseMiddle04.jpg

The Upper Houses make me more problems than I thought, cause Bethesda made a complex founaition with a different technique that I've modeled yet...

I have to figure it out...
